Our client is seeking a professional, friendly, Legal Assistant to support their General Counsel and join their growing real estate development legal team based out of their Winter Park office! The team is friendly, forward thinking and collaborative. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and skilled in developing and maintaining workplace and vendor relationships.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Legal Assistant or Paralegal Certification is preferred.
3+ years experience in a related legal administrative role is preferred as a legal assistant, executive assistant or legal administrative assistant
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Answers phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, schedules appointments, signs for incoming packages, and assists visitors to the legal department.
Responds to emails and other correspondence.
Manages calendars for General Counsel, including making travel arrangements.
Manages expense reporting for General Counsel.
Drafts and edits letters, reports, and other legal documents.
Inputs and updates information in legal databases and spreadsheets.
Prepares meeting agendas and takes meeting minutes.
Coordinates logistics for meetings, including room setup and catering.
Operates and maintains office equipment, including printers, copiers, and fax machines.
Research as requested to compile and summarize legal information for reports or presentations.
Works closely with other administrative staff and supports other colleagues as needed.
Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security.
Ensures that deadlines are met and adapts to changing priorities.
Provide other administrative support as needed.
