Executive Housekeeper to Relocate to Oklahoma City

A busy family moving to Oklahoma City wants to hire two full-time homemakers who know how important a clean, well-cared for home is for a family. Mom and dad work full-time and have 4 children with dedicated nannies. The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally in large private residences/estates or luxury hotels. We are looking for a collaborative individual with a proactive attitude, accustomed to operating within a formal yet busy, private household.

The family's ideal candidate has experience cleaning; loves to polish and organize; and knows how to and enjoys ironing, making beds, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including:
• Cleaning and organizing household
• Completing weekly and biweekly housekeeper checklist duties
• Handling all laundry responsibilities, including hand washing, ironing, and managing dry cleaning
• Caring for fine furnishings, art, accessories, china, crystal, silver, and cleaning them as requested with appropriate products
• Organizing closets, cupboards, and storage areas as necessary
• Undertake seasonal and routine deep cleaning projects
• Assist with serving at dinner parties
• Report any necessary repairs
• Manage the principal's toiletries, wardrobe, and other closet inventory
• Aid in packing and travel preparation as required
• Collaborate closely with the House Manager to streamline household operations
• Unpack and log incoming packages, as well as handle returns/exchanges
  

Job Requirements And Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in private residence or luxury hotel settings
• Eligibility to work in the US is a must
• Fluency in English and effective communication skills
• Experience maintaining confidentiality and privacy in a private employer's household
• Exceptional attitude and work ethic
• Passion for being a homemaker with high standards
• Ownership mentality, strategic thinking, and resourcefulness
• Ability to work collaboratively with an existing team or independently as needed
• Excellent references are required from current and previous employers
