We are currently seeking to fill our Executive Director of Admissions position at the Georgia campus with a highly qualified and passionate individual.

Position Summary
As a member of the enrollment management team, reporting to the Chief Admissions Officer (CAO), the Executive Director of Admissions oversees all recruitment initiatives and strategies for PCOM Georgia, provide leadership in developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies and initiatives which will be designed to attract diverse and academically qualified students to, and meet the enrollment goals of, the osteopathic medical college and all graduate/professional programs on all campuses.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Under the Direction of the CAO, The Executive Director of Admissions (GA) will assist with facilitating long-range planning using research and applied theory to analyze the market place and integrate best practices in recruiting and marketing strategies. The Executive Director assists with aligning recruitment and admissions activities with the College’s strategic plan, mission, vision and goals. At times, the Executive Director (GA) works independently and proactively leads the PCOM Georgia Admissions office to achieve enrollment growth in a challenging demographic and competitive landscape.

Enrollment Planning & Compliance
- Develop and implement the vision for the Office of Admissions in meeting recruitment and enrollment challenges across all programs and campuses in partnership with the Chief Admissions Officer and the Executive Directors on the PCOM South Georgia (SGA) and Philadelphia (PHL) campuses. In addition, the ability to work in a collaborative environment is essential; must be comfortable working with diverse teams at various levels of business experience and knowledge and have excellent organizational skills.
- In collaboration with the Executive Director (SGA), collaborates on all State of Georgia matters.
- Addresses performance challenges and problems with a proactive approach. Inspires staff through leadership to think creatively, adopt best practices and embrace continuous improvement. Mentors Admissions staff to optimize process development and output.
- Collaborates with institutions administration, college deans, faculty, students, and external organizations and institutions in setting appropriate enrollment goals and implementing a holistic recruitment strategy to fulfill them.
- In collaboration with departmental staff, designs, implements, and evaluates a comprehensive, data-driven strategic recruitment plan.
- In concert with the Directors of Admissions Operations and Communications, plans and supervises recruitment and application processing operations including:
- Annually reviews all admissions policies and procedures with the CAO and Senior Admissions leadership team on each campus to ensure compliance with accreditation and state/federal reporting requirements.
- Facilitates organizational development and change management to maintain a progressive and efficient recruitment and admission operation.
- In concert with departmental leadership and Human Resources, identifies areas for staff development and implements programming, interventions and activities focused on improvement.
- Participates in professional organizations and professional development activities to ensure admission best practices.
- Represents Admissions at administrative meetings as assigned by the CAO.
- Annually, assesses, revises, and implements admission policies through a holistic process that collaborates with administration, program faculty and Admissions staff.
- Provides updates and facilitates training on admissions, marketing, and recruitment activities and tools to Institutions staff, faculty, and administration.
- Work with student service departments such as Registrar and Institutional Research to gather and provide data for planning and assessments.
- Works collaboratively with the Director of Admissions Communications and the marketing department to design effective print, email, text, and social media platforms to recruit a new class of students.
- Lead processes for developing application review procedures, including admission decisions and appeals.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with advisors/contacts at undergraduate colleges and universities, increasing opportunity for pathway and affiliation initiatives.
- Maintains professional relationships: AACRAO, COMAO, AACOM and NAAHP.
- Maintains advanced knowledge of education policy, financial aid, large-scale computer systems and data management, as well as applicable Federal, State and Institution policies and law governing admission and recruitment and the release and disclosure of information.
- Applies best practices and rapidly changing technology appropriately to the execution of institution enrollment and recruitment goals.
- Analyzes recruitment-related data and revises programming activities as part of the strategic enrollment planning initiatives, working towards an enrollment management framework.
- Participates in institutional assessment procedures, particularly in planning for and presenting data/documentation for accreditations.
- Collects and maintains statistics and generates reports as needed to demonstrate progress toward enrollment goals.
- Maintains confidential information; other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Education
- Master’s degree (M.A. or M.S.) required at minimum, additional graduate work/certifications or a terminal degree such as a Phd/EdD an added plus.
- Minimum of 10 years progressive work in higher education, proven supervisory experience in admissions or related high volume higher education department.
