Senior/Executive Director, Clinical Development


SciPro has partnered with a mid-size, public global biotech looking to hire a clinical development leader into their growing R&D team!


Our client leverages early scientific/translational excellence to develop a differentiated and tailored approach to each program - identifying unique targets, selecting the optimal modality, and producing novel biologics.


With a recent securement of additional funding, they're looking to add an experienced physician to the team, with expertise to help lead their autoimmune-focused expansion.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead all Clinical Development activities for assigned programs - designing and implementing trials, developing and executing protocols, providing strategic medical input for all deliverables, etc.
  • Review and interpret trial data, prepare analyses for regulatory purposes and participation in team/investigator/leadership meetings.
  • Provide hands-on support for clinical trial recruitment and patient management, including maintaining effective communication with sites and investigators.
  • Preparation and delivery of all study-related documents including regulatory submissions, study reports, presentations/publications, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams regarding program objectives & advancement of the pipeline.
  • Build team/mentor junior staff, cultivating a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and study protocols.


Qualifications:


  • MD (or equivalent), with specialization in Rheumatology, Clinical Immunology, or Neurology required.
  • 3+ years of industry experience required, with a strong understanding of clinical trial design and conducting Phases I-III trials.
  • Autoimmune clinical trials experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work cross-functionally effectively.
  • Proactive and highly adaptable attitude, ability to perform in a dynamic environment.
  • Preference for EST located candidates.
