Who we are looking for

The Executive Communications role will be responsible for developing and elevating global messaging for some of the company's top executives. This seasoned communications professional will craft high-level narratives that amplify our strategy, elevate our external presence, and deliver successful results and outcomes.

Candidate must have proven experience in successful executive speechwriting, strong overall knowledge of the trends impacting the industry, and the ability to communicate effectively to an institutional audience. Candidate must be able to convey a strong executive tone and capture various executives' voices.

To be successful in this role you are self-starter, you are able to act as a guide and strategic advisor, you have strong influencing capabilities, and you can execute in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be responsible for

  • Develop short- and long-form executive communications (employee communications, client communications, conference speeches, op-eds, social media posts, etc.)
  • Curate and do speechwriting for executive speaking engagements at events, conferences, partnering closely with our events team.
  • Elevate the presence and messaging for our executive leadership team. Craft narratives and an executive communications plan that build upon our corporate narrative and positions us as a leader and innovator in the financial services industry.
  • Tailor speeches and communication to appropriate target audiences including clients, investors, employees and the community.

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • Deep understanding of the financial markets and institutional financial services. Strong business acumen, including the ability to understand complex business topics (such as economic trends, sustainability and financial reporting) and translate that information into executive-level messages for external and internal audiences.
  • Experience in writing in B2B financial services firms. Excellence and deep experience in executive speechwriting for the C-suite, preferably for an institutional investment firm.
  • Excellent grammar and communications skills. Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong track record of creating a larger communications strategies while maintaining an execution oriented mindset. Proven ability in generating compelling points of view, strategies and content ideas. Ability to orchestrate the right messages for the right audiences in the right channels.

Salary Range

$100,000 - $167,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
