Executive Communications Officer
LHH is recruiting for a full-time, Executive Communications Officer for one of our clients in the professional healthcare membership category in the Milwaukee area.
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in the Greater Milwaukee Area. Candidates from IL and WI will be considered. Relocation assistance will also be considered.
Compensation: $150K-$180K (based on experience) + bonus opportunity and benefits
Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, 401K plan and more. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, Public Relations and similar.
- 9+ years of experience in strategic communications, media relations, public affairs, crisis communications, or similar (nonprofit, healthcare, or science industry experience is preferred, but not required).
- Demonstrated experience managing crisis communications, media relations, and PR for a fast-paced organization.
- Experience planning and executing various communications initiatives that meet or exceed goals and impact an organization.
- Experience overseeing/collaborating with vendors and agency partners.
- Demonstrated experience leading, growing, and motivating a direct team and inspiring and motivating organizational teams.
- Advanced communications and content skills including writing, editing, proofing, verbal with the ability to articulate complex topics into easily understandable content and messaging for various audiences.
- Proficient level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, social media, Content Management Systems, and E-mail Marketing platforms.
