Location of this role is Dallas, Texas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Schedule executives’ appointments.
  • Schedule and coordinate quarterly Board of Directors’ meetings and committee calls.
  • Create, assemble, and distribute quarterly board meeting books.
  • Arrange and/or coordinate all travel (commercial and private) for the Executive Department.
  • Prepare and/or review correspondence and reports.
  • Organize and maintain confidential documents.
  • Manage financial projects or other research as needed.
  • Attend meetings for training or on executives’ behalf as requested.
  • Serve on committees as assigned.
  • Manage projects as needed.
  • Manage other clerical staff as needed.

  • Have a working knowledge of executives’ duties and company policies.

  • Must be able to have a strong & positive working relationship with all employees.

Education/Experience

Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED), bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education. 3 years of experience in administrative office duties, with progressive advancement in responsibilities and/or authority required.

Language Ability

Must have good command of the English language, including understanding of sentence structure and content, proper spelling and use of words, and grammar. Must have the ability to read, interpret and understand information and ideas presented in writing and through spoken words and sentences. Must be able to effectively communicate information in writing or speaking so others will understand.

Math Ability

Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must be proficient in the use of a calculator.

Reasoning Ability

Must be able to apply general rules to specific problems and to combine seemingly unrelated pieces of information to form general conclusions. Must be able to apply common sense to recognize potential problems and provide reasonable options for solution. Must have an understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

Computer Skills

Must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, database software, email and other software as needed. Must be adaptable and quick to learn new office technologies.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
