Events, Travel, Community Coordinator (6+ month assignment)
New York, NY (hybrid)
A hedge fund in NYC needs assistance for the firm’s Events, Travel, and Community (ETC) group. This team plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s culture both internally and externally by organizing a variety of social and business events, managing firmwide perks, and developing new ways for employees to connect. During this six-month assignment, you’ll engage in almost every aspect of the team’s activities, providing plenty of chances for creative and procedural input. This role offers the opportunity to work in an inclusive, engaging, and dynamic environment.
Experience with Cvent and Social Tables is required.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree is a prerequisite, complemented by a minimum of two years of experience in event planning.
- Can perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with various business units, are advantageous.
