Events Marketing Manager

Machinify is seeking a Events Marketing Manager to drive the strategy, planning, and execution of our external events (virtual and in-person). These include small and large conferences, webinars, and bespoke events. They will generate demand for Machinify's applications, engage prospects through creative activations, build brand awareness, and delight our existing customers. This position reports directly to our Head of Marketing.

The ideal person for this role has a background coordinating across various sales and marketing teams to prioritize, plan, and communicate event strategies and logistics.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, plan, and execute Machinify's event strategy, including end-to-end management and execution of sponsorships, industry events, and individualized event activations with a key focus on pipeline expansion and ROI
  • Manage ongoing vendor and event partner relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and invoice/payment
  • Maintain budget tracker and event planning documents per event to capture planning elements, activities, and spend.
  • Lead pre and post-event initiatives, including marketing promotion, sales outreach, logistics and event setup, creation of event-specific collateral, lead tracking, and ROI measurement
  • Ensure consistent strategy/messaging across all event efforts
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and collaborate closely to build consensus, align goals, develop cohesive strategy, and execute on deliverables
  • Analyze event outcomes and prepare reports on key performance metrics.
  • Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders to solicit input on goals and ideas
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into event planning

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience owning event marketing planning, logistics, budgeting and ROI evaluation
  • Previous experience working within a SaaS or software product focused company
  • Ability to travel to 6-8 events annually
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and strategic planning that results in successful event marketing execution
  • Exceptional communication (virtual and in-person) and presentation skills
  • Experience building successful partnerships with internal company leadership, SMEs, Sales, Account Management, and Product counterparts
  • Proven ability to thrive in a distributed, fast-paced environment with ambitious goals
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Google Suite, and Canva
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred: Deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behaviors in the consumer healthtech industry

The salary for this position is based on an array of factors unique to each candidate: Such as years and depth of experience, set skills, certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges between 110-160k.
