Purpose

We are looking for an Atlanta based Events Manager to join our Marketing team! The Events Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing our participation in trade shows and industry events. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills to ensure our sales team and senior leaders are effectively supported and represented. The ideal candidate will have experience in event management, excellent organizational abilities, and the capability to juggle several event planning projects at once.

Position Responsibilities

Event Planning and Strategy

  • Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies for states and territories to maximize CENTEGIX's visibility and engagement at events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align event participation with overall marketing goals and brand messaging.
  • Create a “booth experience” to maximize traffic to the booth and leads from visitors.
  • Derive the maximum return on our event investment
  • Assist with proposals to secure speaking engagements
  • Track the value-add components of sponsorships including ads, email sends, signage, social media posts, speaking opportunities.

Project Management

  • Oversee all aspects of event project management, including timelines, budgets, resources, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to ensure seamless execution of trade show activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with event planning and execution.
  • Liaise with event organizers to secure booth space, design, and necessary services.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring high-quality service and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure the materials needed for a successful exhibitor experience arrive on time and with appropriate collateral, give-aways, signage, lead retrieval.

Guidance and Coordination

  • Ensure all team members are well-prepared and equipped with the necessary tools and information for successful event participation.
  • Guide the event attendees in all aspects of their participation: booth experience, lead generation, schedules etc.
  • Conduct pre- and post- event meetings with the sales team to align objectives, provide updates, and gather feedback.
  • Hands-on assembly of collateral and materials to ship to event venues

Post - Event Analysis and Reporting

  • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success against objectives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports on event performance, including lead generation, attendee engagement, and ROI.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and within allocated limits.
  • Provide regular financial updates to senior management and recommend cost-saving measures where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event or project management, with a focus on trade shows or large-scale events.
  • Proven project management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex projects.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to come into the office (Atlanta) to ship on marketing materials for conferences, etc.
