Mission

We have one of the fastest growing software solutions in the $50B global language industry achieving 100% year over year ARR growth for the last several years. Yet, we are just beginning to tap into the full potential of our events strategy through carefully planned and executed programs to generate meetings and pipeline.

Your mission will be to accelerate pipeline and ARR growth through the development and execution of virtual and in-person events to double our event pipeline generation over the baseline for next 12 to 18 months.

Experience with both large global industry & regional events, company generated webinars, and onsite client lunch & learns will be critical to your success.

Outcomes

  • Develop and execute on an events strategy and plan to drive a 3x increase pipeline over baseline from events in the next 12 to 18 months
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive global event strategy and plan to drive meetings, open deals and pipeline for our expansion and new sales teams
  • Partner with and direct the sales teams to execute on pre-event outreach, onsite social engagement (e.g. dinners or happy hours) and post-event follow up and to generate meetings & pipeline
  • Partner with sales to solicit client or industry thought leader participation in events to attract both enterprise level executives and practitioners alike

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in event management at a B2B software start-up that went through hypergrowth from ~$10M to ~$100M ARR.
  • Versatility to plan and execute a variety of event types, including webinars, roundtables, lunch and learns, industry trade shows and everything in between in Europe and the US
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage event logistics and operations effectively.
  • Organize and oversee customer small-table events in various cities across the US and Western Europe, including venue selection, catering, event promotion, and on-site management.
  • Experience managing event budgets, track expenses, negotiate contracts, and seek cost-saving opportunities while delivering high-quality event experiences.
  • Experience as a host or moderator for webinars and virtual events, engaging participants, facilitating Q&A sessions, and ensuring a smooth flow of the event.
  • Track record of conduct post-event evaluations, collecting feedback, and analzing event performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize future event strategies.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using event management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for events and flexibility to work outside of regular business hours to accommodate event schedules.
