We are looking for an Event’s Manager to oversee the venue planning, coordination & execution of events at our Williamsburg location and would include Fort Greene once its complete with additional hours. Person must have atleast 3 years event management experience in a restaurant or event venue setting. This position is part-time with the potential of full time. We are known for small casual Brooklyn style events with a lot of baby showers, rehearsal dinners, welcome events, bridal showers & micro-weddings. We are looking for someone to help streamline and grow this!
Job Description :
Event Sales include large group reservations - manage inbox, prepare contracts, invoice & run of show, kitchen BEO
Act as point of contact onsite & manage client communications throughout whole event
Oversee event operations including managing event staff, following run of shows, ensuring proper set ups
Ensure facility is maintained properly and coordinate with Porters or necessary service techs to do so
Update Event Offerings as needed
Ensure that operational and training standards are consistently followed and executed by entire events team
Grow our events program
Pay : $500 base pay a week + 5% admin commission
