Monday – Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

What you’ll be doing:

• Responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of a wide range of programs and events
• Work collaboratively with different teams to create valuable networking opportunities, educational initiatives, and engaging experiences for business partners
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of training programs, by collaborating with subject matter experts and external trainers to ensure the content is both relevant and effective
• Refine training curriculum, staying ahead of industry changes, and aligning training offerings with the evolving needs and industry standards
• Align programing with organizational strategic initiatives by working collaboratively with internal departments, developing metrics to measure impact, and effectively managing budgets
• Support robust metrics and effective budget management.
• Oversee growth within the promotion of grants program
• Communicate and track all aspects of the grant management process
• Targeted outcomes include accurate and comprehensive grant files and credit union awareness of available grants
• Negotiate venue, speaker, and catering contracts
• Plan and execute webinars, golf outings, and other events for members
• Cultivate relationships with assigned accounts to maintain goals and revenue

Who we’re looking for:

• A college degree in a relevant field and/or substantial event planning experience
• Previous experience in setting event revenue goals and managing budgets that meet revenue goals
• Working knowledge and experience with event management software
• Trade association experience would be ideal
• Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and through various platforms (including email and social media)
