What you’ll be doing:
Responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of a wide range of programs and events
Work collaboratively with different teams to create valuable networking opportunities, educational initiatives, and engaging experiences for business partners
Lead the design, development, and implementation of training programs, by collaborating with subject matter experts and external trainers to ensure the content is both relevant and effective
Refine training curriculum, staying ahead of industry changes, and aligning training offerings with the evolving needs and industry standards
Align programing with organizational strategic initiatives by working collaboratively with internal departments, developing metrics to measure impact, and effectively managing budgets
Support robust metrics and effective budget management.
Oversee growth within the promotion of grants program
Communicate and track all aspects of the grant management process
Targeted outcomes include accurate and comprehensive grant files and credit union awareness of available grants
Negotiate venue, speaker, and catering contracts
Plan and execute webinars, golf outings, and other events for members
Cultivate relationships with assigned accounts to maintain goals and revenue
Who we’re looking for:
A college degree in a relevant field and/or substantial event planning experience
Previous experience in setting event revenue goals and managing budgets that meet revenue goals
Working knowledge and experience with event management software
Trade association experience would be ideal
Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and through various platforms (including email and social media)
