You will be responsible for supporting the General Manager of the facility in all aspects of oversight of the venue, providing a great home for the Lexington Sporting Club. Making sure the venue is operated in a world-class way while training the venue staff to exhibit the highest level of costumer service to all guests of the facility is the core of this position.
This role pays a yearly wage of $60,000 to $80,000.

Founded in 2021, Lexington Sporting Club is an American professional soccer team based in Lexington, KY. The soccer complex off Athens-Boonesboro Road near I-75 is scheduled to open in August 2024 in time for the organization’s first USL Super League season.
Assist General Manager in all aspects of management of the venue
Care for all aspects of the physical structure of the venue to include maintenance of the venue
Hire, train and oversee all event related staff including security, guest services, janitorial, maintenance and all related staff per the OVG Management agreement
Work with Lexington Sporting Club staff to ensure all events and programs are executed according to the agreed terms.
Attend weekly management and staff meetings to ensure strong communication
Act as Manager on Duty if needed

3-5 years of related experience
Proven leadership ability with a sports background
Be passionate and knowledgeable about the soccer and venue management industry
Assertive, enthusiastic, energetic, and punctual
Portray strong relationship management skills, work ethic, and care for customers and products
Ability to deliver a high level of customer service, to plan and organize the work necessary to run a successful facility
College degree strongly preferred
Flexibility to work shifts as necessary for event scheduling including days, evenings/nights and weekends.
