Women Photographers International Archive (WOPHA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Miami, FL. Our mission is to research, promote, support, and educate about the role of those who identify as women and non-binary in photography. We strive to create a more inclusive and diverse photographic community through our programs and initiatives.


Role Description

This is a temporary role for an Event Production Manager. The Event Production Manager will be responsible for planning and executing various events, including exhibitions, workshops, and conferences. They will oversee all aspects of event production, including budgeting, communication, and logistics. This is a hybrid role, with the majority of work being located in Miami, FL, but some remote work is also acceptable.


Qualifications

  • Experience in Production Management and Event Planning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and handle financial aspects of event production
  • Knowledge of event production processes and best practices
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the arts or photography industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
