Event Planner/Coordinator - Contractor

Contract Description

EY GigNow has an immediate opening for an Event Planner/Coordinator - Contractor.

• Lead planning and execution of program events end-to-end: Own the process for delivering important events and engagement activities for a large scale technology transformation program.
• Manage the master events and engagement calendar: Maintain a comprehensive calendar of all program events and engagement activities, ensuring timely planning and execution.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement: Work closely with program stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure seamless logistics for all engagement activities (Number of participants ranges anywhere from a dozen to sometimes hundreds of people).
• Plan and execute program-level events: This includes venue selection, vendor management, budget tracking, and creating a cohesive, professional event experience.
• Develop and maintain engagement plans: Craft detailed plans outlining the goals, objectives, and tactics for each engagement activity.
• Track and report on event success: Monitor key metrics, analyze event data, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of programs.
• Collaborate with program team members: Team effectively with other members of the program team involved in planning and delivering the events.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in event coordination for live events that often involve several dozen or even hundreds of participants.
• Proven track record of success in project management.
• Experience working in an Agile project management environment a plus.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong ability to problem solve, track down information when needed, and push through ambiguity.
• Highly detailed and organized with a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality.

The expected pay rate range for this contract assignment is $75 to $85 per hour. Exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
