Event Planner

Our client is looking to hire an Event Planner to support their Chicago team!


LOCATION: Remote + Travel (within US)


TARGET START DATE: Immediate


JOB TYPE: Contract, W2, Benefited


DURATION: 6 months


What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and manage event communications, invitations, and registration sites for consistency.
  • Provide necessary assets to meet event requirements.
  • Lead planning meetings, providing clear guidance and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to organize and execute sponsorship events.
  • Supervise event planning and execution, managing everything from small dinners to large-scale receptions.
  • Review materials for accuracy and consult with team members as needed.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to maintain event quality and client satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of relevant event planning and management experience.
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders and sponsors
  • Preferred experience or knowledge of Zoom, Salesforce, and CVent
