Event Coordinator

We are looking for someone function in a plot of ways like a full time member of our team

Events in divisional and enterprise level, looking to offload deivisonal enterprise events to folks who are experienced and know what they are doing in the event space

Supporting production and execution of all of our hybrid and virtual events and in-person events happening in our office

Looking for someone with a background in events and events management and events strategy with executive level prosense.

Background to understand what expectations are.

This role has

Team live, teams meeting, teams townhall, strong knowledge in teams suite will be needed or other virtual event tools.

Aniticoating what the client needs are and offering appropriate alternate solutions.

Knowing when to escalate

Broad range of understanding in the events space in the corporate world.

Not looking for someone who was planning wedding

Creating event support docs for different virtual town halls

Sourcing venues for partnership events

Supporting administrative functions to execute logistics

Overseeing all different pieces.

Catering, post event, reception etc.

Prioritise social tables over cvent for this group, but experience with both will be ideal.

Event experience from restaurants and weddings will be a NO. If it is a major hotel chain it will still be fine but not at a restaurant level. Background in more ops than in sales. Event coordinators with corporate experience are what we need.

These are all internal only events either happening onsite in Reston or DC. It will largely be an enterprise divisional townhouse for MF - from 700 people to 3000 people.

Most divisions have a townhall per quarter.

They should be comfortable managing an event of around 500 people in person with support of different departments like housekeeping and catering.

If the meeting has breakouts, they are responsible for managing the breakouts in virtual meetings so that is why knowledge of virtual event tools will be important.

Looking for 2-4 years of experience.

Certifications (not required but will be nice to have)

CMP - will be great but not required.

DES - Digital Event Strategist

Social tables or Cvent - if they have neither of them then less chances of being considered, if they have one - I would prefer social tables working knowledge over cvent.
