Draft Note We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for planning and executing memorable events. As an Event Coordinator at DraftNote Design, you will be responsible for organizing and managing a variety of events, from client meetings to promotional and networking events.

$24.00 - $30.50 per hour

Duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including client meetings, promotional events, and industry networking functions.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure their needs are met.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and transportation.
  • Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all details are managed effectively.
  • Promote events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and the company website.
  • Evaluate event success and generate reports on outcomes and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or related field (recent graduates welcome).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Prior experience in event planning or coordination (internships or relevant coursework preferred).
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed during events.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for events and marketing.
