A leading women-owned event marketing agency based in Los Angeles is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and creative Event Coordinator to join their growing team.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2+ years of event planning experience at an agency. Responsibilities included but not limited to:


  • Coordinate and assist Event Manager(s) in support of small to large size event projects from start to finish
  • Work closely with clients and internal team on all communication and sourcing vendors
  • Coordinate and manage event details including venue, vendors, sponsors, speakers etc.
  • Create, design, and coordinate comprehensive event budgets and schedules for each client
  • Negotiate with vendors for necessary event-related details and costs
  • Generate event reports and perform event related follow-up duties
  • Continue to foster relationships with existing vendors and establish new ones for cross referrals and promotions
  • Assist with event needs and day of events locally and traveling as needed


Requirements:


  • Minimum 1-2+ years’ of professional full-time experience in event planning on small to large scale events including corporate conferences, galas, nonprofit events, holiday parties, company retreats, launch events, and experiential marketing events
  • Deadline oriented and creative problem solver
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, work independently, and collaboratively with a team
  • Budgeting and negotiation skills
  • BA degree is highly preferred, not required
  • Ability to work onsite 3x a week in Los Angeles and travel domestically as needed is required
