Epitec is hiring for an ETL/Snowflake Developer who is responsible for enhancing and supporting data ingest\egress integrations with the Financial Risk Mart Solution.
The role will revolve around the building and supporting of the Snowflake processes as well as working with the current application development team to drive superior business value, enhanced customer experience, and compliance with our standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ETL/SNOWFLAKE DEVELOPER:
Design and Develop ETL pipelines in and out of the data warehouse using a combination of Python and Snowflakes Snow SQL
Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores methods and approaches star and snowflake dimensional modeling
Experience in designing and deploying virtual warehouse, schema, views, and zero-copy clones in Snowflake cloud data warehouse
Work with data analyst in mapping documents and designing/building IBM DataStage jobs to the requirements.
Participate in peer design reviews and provide recommendations.
Ensure runbooks are fully up-to-date and consistently improving the efficiency derived from automation.
Hands-on experience to improve operational stability via automation, such as auto-healing where possible, and raise design changes for SMEs and/or architects, as well as opportunities to application /service managers.
Work some off hours as demanded by projects, operations, and needs of the on-shore team and stakeholders, such as release, testing, and/or critical bug resolutions.

Hybrid-3 Days in Office-Chicago, IL (M-W-F)
Working Hours: 8:30 am - 5 pm CST
Compensation: $65-$70/HR-W2
