Ethics & Compliance Counsel

Legal.io is working with a leading construction management software company that is seeking to engage an experienced Ethics & Compliance counsel on a part-time (15 hours per week) contract basis for an initial 3 month term.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Policy Governance Maturity -Implement and maintain an updated repository of EPA Effluent Guidelines (ELG)-related policies and procedures that is easily accessible and used by employees to increase awareness of expectations and requirements.
• Track Legal and Regulatory Environment -Implement a repeatable process for tracking critical/significant ELG-related laws and regulations in key jurisdictions.
• Train Employees on Policies and Ethical Decision-Making Principles - Implement training calendar and completion/compliance process and tools; and launch bite-sized training campaigns re common issues and proposed steps to resolution.
• Employee Reports—Allegation Intake and Triage Maturity—Improve the current process as follows: The allegation intake and investigation process is documented and consistently followed and includes severity/materiality assessment, key investigation metrics, root cause analysis, recommended corrective actions, and guidelines for follow-up with reporting employees.

Role Details:

• Hours: 15 Hours / Week
• Duration: 3 Months (From 7/29/2024 until 10/28/2024)
• Pay Rate: $150 - $187 / hr
