About The Role

The North America Ethics & Compliance Director & Global Third-Party Risk Lead is a newly created position at Reckitt. As the business continues its journey of growth and transformation, this new, exciting role is designed to deliver a best-in-class compliance programme and management support within North America across all GBUs. As well as ownership of NA E&C, the successful candidate will also lead and manage Reckitt’s global third-party risk programme.

Reporting to the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, the position is located Parsippany New Jersey USA and is also responsible for leading and managing a small, high-performance team. They will be a member the Global Ethics & Compliance leadership team, and partner closely with the Nutrition and North America leadership teams as well as supporting Global Procurement on Ethics and Compliance matters.

Your responsibilities

  • Shape and oversee Reckitt's ethics and compliance programmes, ensuring they are in sync with the latest legal and regulatory benchmarks.
  • Evaluate and fine-tune our operations through rigorous compliance assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Educate and guide employees on E & C matters, designing training that helps embed our core values into all aspects of our work.
  • Investigate reports of misconduct, taking decisive action to resolve issues and maintain our high ethical standards.
  • Monitor shifts in legal and regulatory landscapes to ensure that Reckitt continuously operates at the forefront of compliance.

The experience we're looking for

The candidate will be an experienced US qualified attorney serving as both general counsel and as a compliance officer during their career. They will be a credible leader who can motivate his or her team and be a strategic business partner that fosters development of a business-friendly, solutions-driven Ethics and Compliance function. You will be an action oriented, performance-focused “change agent”, who enjoys autonomy, can navigate ambiguity, can operate in a cross-functional, cross-matrixed organization, and interface with an incredibly diverse and international employee population.
