Estimator

Estimator Position Overview: The Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates on projects that involve Heavy-Civil construction, bridges, road construction, airport construction, and sitework. The Estimator will review client project specifications, blueprints, and other applicable documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret project specifications, blueprints, drawings, and other contract documents to prepare accurate estimates.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and cost analysis of proposed projects.
• Collaborate with project team members to discuss and resolve issues during the estimating process.
• Produce bid forms, negotiate contract terms, and prepare award letters.
• Monitor project cost and scope changes.
• Provide technical advice to project personnel.
• Maintain client relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Consult with the client on any changes to the project.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Heavy-Civil, Estimating, Construction, and/or HCESS.
• Proficiency in HCESS Takeoffs and cost estimating.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
