Escrow Officer | Closer

We are seeking an experienced, polished, and professional Escrow Officer / Closer to join the team of a boutique Title Insurance Company in Dallas.

You know the drill, but here are some of the basic requirements:

  • Verifying the accuracy of land ownership documents.
  • Conferring with buyers, sellers, and lending institutions.
  • Examining property titles for delinquent taxes.
  • Examining and summarizing mortgages and trust deed documents.
  • Reviewing and summarizing search activity documents.
  • Obtaining property drawings and reports from county surveyors or assessors.
  • Ensuring all financial obligations have been met by the seller and the buyer.
  • Preparing legal documents for the closure of the sale.
  • Holding and transferring funds.
  • Finalizing the real estate transaction and preparing closing reports.

Escrow Officer Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an Escrow Officer in the title industry.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, title insurance, and escrow processes.
  • Escrow license in TX is required.
  • An existing, portable client base and the willingness to collaborate with our business development team to grow your book of business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organization.
  • Proficient in industry-related software, specifically SoftPro Select, and technology
