Escrow Officer
Job Description: As an Escrow Officer, you will be responsible for managing the escrow process for residential and commercial real estate transactions from inception to completion. You will ensure that all legal and financial requirements are met, while providing outstanding customer service to buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders.

- Manage Escrow Transactions: Oversee the opening, processing, and closing of escrow accounts for real estate transactions.
- Prepare and Review Documents: Draft and review escrow instructions, HUD-1 Settlement Statements, Closing Disclosures, title commitments, and other necessary documents.
- Coordinate Closings: Schedule and facilitate the closing process, ensuring all parties are informed and all conditions are met.
- Handle Funds: Verify receipt of funds, manage disbursement of funds post-closing, and ensure all parties are paid accurately and on time.
- Conduct Title Searches: Perform title searches to identify and resolve any title issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) and other industry standards.
- Resolve Disputes: Mediate disputes between buyers and sellers, providing solutions to ensure successful transaction closures.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the escrow process.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate and organized records of all transactions and related documentation.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Escrow Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of escrow processes, HUD-1 Settlement Statements, Closing Disclosures, and title insurance.
- Familiarity with TRID regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in escrow software and related tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to mediate disputes effectively.
