Join our team as an Escrow Assistant where you will play a crucial role in supporting the escrow process. Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing escrow transactions from opening to closing.
- Conduct basic math calculations related to escrow funds.
- Collaborate with loan officers to gather necessary information for escrow processing.
- Review Preliminary Title Report to identify items that require clearance.
- Order all applicable demands, HOA documents, liens and insurance.
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and internal teams.
- Preparation of Estimate Closing Statements for Lender, Buyer and Seller.
- Handling of lender documents to include preparation, scheduling signing, packaging and funding communications.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the escrow process.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in escrow or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with loan processing procedures.
- Knowledge of basic math principles.
- Understanding of FNMA guidelines and TILA regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality and Attendance
- Willingness to assist with office responsibilities as directed by Branch Manager
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Tech Savy - able to quickly adapt to new technology
- Experience with Softpro, RBJ and SmartView is a plus.
