Position Overview:
The firm is in search of an Equity Analyst who is well versed in financial modeling with a entrepreneurial spirit and an independent mindset. Able to assist with due diligence and primary research to add value to the firm. Your insights and recommendations will play a key role in shaping our investment strategies and decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed fundamental research on global companies and industries to identify investment opportunities.
Develop and maintain financial models to project company performance and valuation.
Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and other relevant data to evaluate the financial health and growth potential of companies.
Monitor and interpret global market trends, news, and events to inform investment decisions.
Prepare and present comprehensive research reports, investment theses, and recommendations to portfolio managers.
Collaborate with the investment team to refine and execute investment strategies.
Attend industry conferences, company meetings, and other relevant events to gather insights and build professional networks.
Continuously update and revise investment theses based on new information and market developments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
1-5 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and concisely.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet) is a plus.
Demonstrated passion for investing and a deep understanding of global financial markets.
