ROEMHELD North America is a leading provider of Power Workholding devices and systems solutions as well as Hydraulic & Magnetic Die Clamping Systems for Quick Mold and Die Changes, serving the precision machining and metal forming industries. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our service team in the role of Equipment Repair Technician II.
Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
A company vehicle is available as needed for business-related travel.
Company Cell phone is provided.
Company credit card will be issued.

Position Summary
Responsible for performing installs, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment according to customer operating and safety specifications. Must have a strong mechanical aptitude with good problem-solving skills. Must be able to read/interpret technical information as required to install and repair Roemheld products and perform other simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Will need to assemble bill of materials equipment from component parts as required based on customer orders. Must be highly motivated, can work independently with minimal supervision. Must communicate well, be detailed oriented and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Job Description And Requirements
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain equipment purchased by customers, as required
Diagnose issues with Roemheld products and perform troubleshooting maintenance/repairs of these products on customer equipment as required
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during service calls
Moderate to expert level skill required with two or more of the following areas: hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, magnetics, hydraulic and controls; some PLC experience preferred
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Other Duties & responsibilities:
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
Manage inventory of products stored in the warehouse and ensuring inventory accuracy & update computer system with shipping/receiving activity and manage inventory locations
Comply with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas
Perform other duties or building maintenance related duties as assigned
Provide customers quotes for repairs based on diagnosis
Make recommendations to customers on product needs identified during service calls
Education: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High school diploma/GED is required; Associates degree in mechanical, industrial maintenance, or completion of a formal technical training program a plus
Minimum of three years of mechanical equipment installation and service experience
Must be proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Periodic overnight travel required,
Travel expectations are estimated at 25%
