Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Epidemiologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in epidemiology, with a focus on oncology and safety Real World Evidence (RWE) and Real World Data (RWD). This role requires an individual who can perform feasibility analysis, plan and conduct observational studies, and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality data and results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Feasibility Analysis: Conduct feasibility analysis for proposed studies to assess the potential for success.
  • Study Planning: Plan observational studies and draft protocol synopses or protocol concept sheets.
  • Study Design: Determine study design criteria, including source data, analytical methods, and analysis plans.
  • Protocol Development: Draft and review observational study protocols and analysis specifications, including Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs).
  • Study Execution: Conduct observational studies, including primary data collection and secondary data use studies.
  • Data Quality Review: Review analysis outputs for quality, including study analysis, ad hoc analysis, and analyses to support conferences or publications.
  • Literature Reviews: Conduct targeted literature reviews for ad hoc queries and event frequencies.
  • Deliverable Quality Assurance: Conduct quality reviews of all deliverables to ensure data and results are accurate.
  • Issue Resolution: Work with scientific and operational stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with study teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to advance study and analysis deliverables.
  • Timeline Management: Work with relevant stakeholders to meet study milestones and timelines.
  • Meeting Participation: Participate in program or study planning meetings.
  • Adaptability: Actively adapt and adjust priorities to ensure timely and quality completion of assigned tasks.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as required by the department.


Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Epidemiology.
  • 7-10+ years of industry experience as an epidemiologist.
  • Experience in oncology and safety RWE/RWD is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
