Performs environmental duties at designated Court and Correction site. Ensures daily cleanliness and safety for clients and staff at site.
Position Description:
Ensures the overall safety and basic repair of designated site;
Identify needed repairs; complete basic tasks timely and with quality; ensure workorder tickets are submitted to Talbert House Facilities timely and performed timely
Ensure daily cleanliness including trash removal, floor cleanliness, cleaning and stocking restrooms, and interior and exterior power washing
Performs basic interior and exterior building maintenance and basic repair works such as basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, basic wall repair
Picks up supplies and equipment for facility as needed and coordinated with Talbert House Facilities
Moves furniture and equipment as necessary
Other dutiea as assigned
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to plan facility supply needs
Knowledge of basic building maintenance techniques and tools involved in the upkeep of buildings, fixtures and structures
Basic skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and preventive/general maintenance
Driving
Job Requirements:
High School Graduate or High School Equivalency
1-3 years of experience

Positional: Infrequent sitting. Frequent standing and walking. Driving in accordance with job duties assigned.
Gross Mobility: Occasional climbing, crawling and crouching. Frequent balancing, stooping, and kneeling. Constant reaching, handling, and fingering.
Sensory: Frequent feeling, tasting/smelling. Frequent use of color vision; far, midrange and near visual acuity, depth perception, visual accommodation and field of vision. Frequent to constant talking/communicating.
