The Hydrogeological Services (Tank Testing & Compliance) Specialist will assist with proposal completion for new contracts, scheduling field staff, and maintaining inventories. The Compliance Specialist will provide ongoing communications with clients and contractors to ensure successful experiences and timely project completion. This job operates in a professional office environment but may require extended periods of time working outdoors with moderate to heavy (40lbs+) lifting.
Responsibilities And Duties
Prepare and assist in the preparation of proposals for new projects
Monitor and maintain reports associated with proposal activity
Provide management assistance for ongoing projects: technical, budgetary, and personnel
Ensure client's expectations are being met by responding expeditiously to client phone calls and emails
Maintain communications with internal team members; engineers, administrative team, and executive teams
Review daily field service and testing reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Report irregularities to engineers and supervisors
Must follow and enforce all regulatory and safety standards with the team
Anticipate personnel and equipment needs to accommodate future project completion
Skill Requirements
Accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness with project results required
Ability to read and interpret regulatory specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Coordinating schedules and employee projects
Calculating materials and man hours for each project while ensuring each project stays within budget, timeframe, and regulations
Ability to work in a high-volume project environment (70+ projects a week)
Must be self-motivated with an entrepreneurial thirst
Required Education And Experience
High School or General Education Diploma (GED)
0-3 years of progressive experience in a high-paced project management role
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of progressive experience in a petroleum field testing or equivalent position
Associate or Bachelor's degree in (civil engineering, Environmental Sciences or Construction Management)
Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m Able to work occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
