Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Industry leader seeks a Mechanical Engineer for a plant role. You will wear a lot of hats - from equipment troubleshooting, to project management, to process engineering. You should have a BSME and true mechanical skills, as well as the desire to be on the plant floor in the thick of things. strong communication is key, as you will work on all levels and be thrown new things regularly. Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities on plant equipment to identify and address potential issues before they escalate
• Manage capital projects related to plant equipment, overseeing tasks from design and installation to commissioning and handover
• Identify opportunities for equipment modifications and upgrades to enhance safety, reliability, and production capacity
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes by providing technical expertise on equipment selection and integration
  
  

Requirements

• BS Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience from an industrial environment
• Equipment troubleshooting experience or ability
• Desire to work collaboratively with teams, but the ability to self direct
