Entry Level Machine Operator

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a machine operator you will be responsible for:

• Following detailed instruction, processes, and procedures to correctly produce parts
• Mold, trim, inspect parts to meet customer requirements
• Able to detect defective parts
• Comply with policies and guidelines
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or material to supervisor
• Measuring, gaging, and inspecting parts
• Use a calibrator to gage parts
• Ensure work area is kept clean and free of debris
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Have exceptional attendance (be to work on time, and take breaks at allotted times)
  
  

Skills:

• Machine operator, mic experience a plus, or willingness to learn
• Good vision and ability to use fine motor skills such as holding, grasping, and turning
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time
• Able to identify issues
• Detailed oriented
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary to meet strict deadlines with our customers
• Good communication skills. MUST be a team player, one who gets along with others
• Must be able to keep up in a fast paced production based environment
