Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Equity Research Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will focus on researching and analyzing companies within the insurance and insurance services sector to provide valuable insights to our clients and support our investment decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough fundamental analysis of companies within the insurance and insurance services sector, including financial statement analysis, competitive positioning assessment, and industry trend evaluation.
Generate investment recommendations based on research findings and present findings to senior analysts and portfolio managers.
Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors affecting the insurance sector.
Assist in building and maintaining financial models to forecast company performance and valuation.
Collaborate with other members of the research team to develop comprehensive sector reports and investment theses.
Stay updated on market news and developments to identify potential investment opportunities and risks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Prior internship or coursework related to equity research or financial analysis is preferred but not required.
