Clayton Services is searching for an Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer to join a thriving company in Humble, Texas. The Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, analysis, and detailing of platform structures, foundations, and associated connections.
Conduct preliminary design and cost estimation for project quotations.
Develop platform structures and associated connection designs.
Design platform column foundations, including slabs, piers, piles, and footings as needed.
Utilize software like Fabtrol for materials nesting and creation of shop NC files.
Prepare client approval drawings, engineering drawings, shipping and lashing drawings, and installation drawings.
Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to perform structural analysis using RISA 3D (FEA), MathCad, or similar software.
Ability to model and detail in Autodesk Advance Steel
Ability to manage materials utilizing Advance Workshop or comparable software.
Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
0 - 3 years of experience or university-level course completion in structural steel design and analysis, familiarity with concrete foundation design and analysis.
