Entry-Level Accounting Assistant

Pay: $22-25/hour, based on experience

Location: Century City - Onsite

We are looking for entry-level accounting candidates with 3+ months of accounting experience, who is looking to grow their accounting skills/knowledge. This opportunity is located in Century City.

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve cash receipts and match/apply to payments on booking reports
• Correct any inaccurate receipts by issuing refunds or transferring funds if necessary
• Attach backup records to payments
• Research and resolve any discrepancies
• Work closely with agents/clients regarding any inquiries or issues with payments
• Work closely with colleagues in the Trust Accounting team
• Perform additional tasks assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Must have 3+ years Finance/Accounting experience
• Experience reconciling accounts, statements, etc. and resolving discrepancies
• Entertainment experience is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well with a team and represent the culture of the company
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities
• Ability to succeed in a fast paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic, corporate environment
• Unimpeachable integrity and can be trusted to maintain confidential information
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
