Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Entrepreneurship Instructor to lead programs on entrepreneurship for middle and high school kids. The program will cover the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, guiding students through both theoretical concepts and hands-on practical experiences. The focus will be on helping students develop their own product ideas, design and build prototypes, and gain valuable insights through testing.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons on the basics of entrepreneurship tailored to various age groups.
  • Guide students through the process of ideation, design, and prototyping of their own product ideas.
  • Provide hands-on instruction in the use of tools and materials for building prototypes.
  • Facilitate group discussions, teamwork, and collaboration among students.
  • Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback on student projects.
  • Organize and oversee the testing phase of the prototypes.
  • Teach valuable lessons from the prototype build and testing phases.
  • Assist students in deciding next steps with their products, whether it be refinement, marketing, or presentation.
  • Make a lasting impact on students by fostering entrepreneurial skills.
  • Provide opportunity to inspire creativity and critical thinking in a dynamic learning environment.


Qualifications:

  • Background in entrepreneurship, business, product development or related fields.
  • Experience working with children or in educational settings.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods for different age groups.
  • Familiarity with design thinking and hands-on project-based learning.
  • Enthusiastic about fostering creativity and innovation in young minds.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to commit to part-time hours.


Compensation:

This is a part-time role with compensation per program delivered. Current compensation does not include 401K, employee pension, health, vacation pay, sick pay, or other fringe benefits.


Work Authorization:

Ability to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.


Background Check:

Successful candidates for this position will be required to undergo a pre-employment background check. This background check may include but is not limited to verification of education, employment history, criminal records, professional licenses, and any other relevant checks deemed necessary for the role. Please note that the offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of the background check.
