Position Summary
The Entertainment Operations Coordinator at Playland Park is responsible for the flawless execution of all entertainment elements within the park. This role includes setting up and maintaining sound and lighting systems, coordinating shows, managing entertainment schedules, and serving as the primary contact for vendors. The ideal candidate will ensure a vibrant and engaging guest experience by seamlessly integrating and maintaining entertainment activities.
Install, operate, and maintain sound and lighting systems for various attractions and shows
Manage and troubleshoot technical equipment to ensure optimal performance
Set up and dismantle stages, props, and other equipment for live performances
Maintain a comprehensive schedule of all entertainment activities, ensuring timey execution
Upload and manage voiceovers, music tracks, and other audio/visual content to the parks entertainment system
Coordinate with performers, entertainers, and vendors to ensure smooth show operation
Serve as the primary liaison between Playland Park and entertainment vendors, ensuring clear communication and adherence to agreements
Oversee the arrival, setup, and departure of external entertainment teams.
Assist with the execution of special events and seasonal activities.
Monitor and adjust park-wide music and announcements to enhance the guest experience
Collaborate with other departments to align entertainment activities with overall park operation.
Conduct regular checks of all entertainment systems to ensure high-quality performance and guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Operating 2-way radio
Responsible for providing excellent guest services
Collect and communicates all operational and technical issues to Management.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Must be able to work a varied of shifts, including holidays and weekends
Must be able to interact in a multicultural environment with a variety of ages
Must maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information
Background check may be required
Proven experience in entertainment operations, event coordination, or a related field.
Proficiency in sound and lighting systems, including setup and troubleshooting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with audio/visual software and technology.
Ability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
