Enterprise Technology Manager

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Manage Interlight’s technology, including software, hardware, data architecture and flow, network and security. Bringing experience, expertise, energy and a hands-on approach to ensure reliable, scalable and secure operations of our growing eCommerce business. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Provide technical support for all components of Interlight’s operations, systems and data architecture.

·        Manage and collaborate with 3^rd party technical support partners covering each component of the technology stack.

·        Drive technical execution of data export / import / transaction flow initiatives for bulk product additions.

·        Build and troubleshoot technical integrations between software components and between Interlight and Enterprise partners, customers, and vendors, including EDI, API, FTP protocols.

·        Troubleshoot data integrity issues and collaborate with all departments to facilitate and develop solutions.

·        Identify and execute opportunities for transaction automation throughout the technology stack to reduce manual effort and human error 

·        Manage software version updates in collaboration with internal team and external support partners.

·        Lead BI report development to support all departments for business intelligence, KPI reporting, and financial reporting needs.

·        Support all staff in the daily use of software systems, network, and hardware.

·        Assist with reports and data extraction when needed.

·        Monitor and analyze information and data systems to evaluate performance and discover ways to enhance them (new technologies, upgrades, etc.)

·        Manage technical execution of ERP, web platform, and product information software user access and profiles.

·        Identify and execute upgrades and enhancements to optimize IT infrastructure, including hardware, network, phone, and security systems.

·        Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with Interlight’s business goals.

·        Plan and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.

·        Develop, implement and maintain a risk management program to identify and mitigate technology-related risks.

·        Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

·        Build and Develop SOP’s covering key technology processes and standards.

·        Establish and maintain relationships with key technology vendors and service providers.

·        Advise on contract negotiations and service level agreements (SLAs).

·        Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of IT failures.

·        Stay updated with the latest technology trends and assess their applicability to the company.

·        Lead initiatives to pilot and implement innovative technologies.

·        Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the technical skills of the team and staff.

·        Mentor and support team members in their professional development.

EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

·        Experience as a technology leader in an eCommerce business.

·        Experience with Product Information Databases (PID or PIM).

·        Experience with API and EDI integrations.

·        Experience with ERP system conversion or implementation.

·     Experience building and understanding Functional Design Documents and customizations is preferred.

·        Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred.

·        Experience with SQL query creation and analysis.

·        Proficient in MS SQL Server platform or similar.

·        Experience with Azure cloud data storage environments.

·        Experience with MS Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools is preferred.

·        Proficiency in MS platform software.

·        Proficiency in MS Active Directory and Account Management.

·        Experience in a product distribution or manufacturing environment.

·        Ability to learn and adapt to new skills, technologies, and techniques quickly and independently.

·        Excellent creative problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·        5+ years of working experience required.

·        Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field.

·        Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data, Azure Architecture, MS Dynamics 365 Business Central) are a plus.

·        Strong presentation skills to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

·        Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) is a plus.

·        Experience with cloud infrastructure management, including AWS or Google Cloud Platform, in addition to Azure.

·        Understanding of customer experience (CX) strategies and technologies.

·        Hardware Setup and Installation: Understanding of hardware setup and installation, including laptops, PCs, printers, routers, phone, and security/camera systems.

·        Technology Stack and Data Architecture: Understanding of the full technology software stack and data architecture, including Big Commerce, Channel Advisors (now Rithum), MS Dynamics 365 BC, and integrations with various partners feeds.

·        3^rd Party ISV Add-Ons to ERP Systems: Understanding of add-ons, including payment processors, sales tax integrations, integrated shipping software, freight rating, document and form creation, and MS Dynamics operational and reporting enhancements such as Beyond Cues / Power Automate
