About The Role

The Sales Trainer - Sales Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective onboarding programs that ensure new sales team members are well-equipped to succeed. This role involves collaborating closely with sales leadership to identify training needs, creating engaging training content, and measuring the effectiveness of onboarding initiatives.

What The Candidate Will Do

  • Facilitate and manage the sales new hire onboarding program, delivering meaningful and engaging training on-time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Make ongoing iterations and innovative improvements to curriculum and delivery methods for both the new hire onboarding program and our ongoing sales skill development program.
  • Work with sales leaders and internal stakeholders to continually assess and understand training needs, define options, and translate them into actionable and measurable learning objectives and goals.
  • Design and develop training in a variety of delivery modes (e.g., instructor-led, in-person or virtual training, self-paced training, eLearning, supporting guides, etc.).
  • Create sales training documents and playbooks as required for specific programs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or a similar role, with a focus on onboarding new sales hires.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability as a high-performing seller or sales trainer within B2B tech or logistics organizations (3-5 years)
  • Expertise in sales training methodologies and experience training on value and solution-based selling (Challenger, MEDDPICC, SNAP, Sandler...etc.)
  • A successful track record of developing internal relationships with learners, managers, partners, and SMEs
  • EXPERIENCE with all aspects of training, including needs assessment, building lessons and job aides, working with SMEs, and facilitation
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ChatGPT, ZoomInfo, and conversational intelligence software (Gong, Clari, Chorus, etc.)
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and delivering sales training programs.
