Enterprise Resources Planning Project Manager

We are seeking an ERP Project Manager to join the team to assist with a ~9 month long assignment, helping our client implement Oracle. This is a hybrid opportunity with 2-3 days onsite in NYC.


Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

ERP Implementation:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the ERP implementation, ensuring timely completion within budget and maintaining high quality.
  • Manage daily operations with a detailed understanding of key activities, issues, and risks.
  • Monitor and report program-wide status, including financials.
  • Organize project teams and allocate resources based on work-stream phase, prioritization, and activity.
  • Approve project-wide communications to internal and external key program stakeholders.
  • Monitor design decisions and escalate issues related to Oracle Cloud functionality and configuration, consulting with the Steering Committee on matters affecting project scope, timeline, or budget.
  • Escalate major and unresolved issues with significant impact on solution quality, delivery timeline, scope, budget, or resources to the Project Leadership Team and Steering Committee.
  • Collaborate with vendor Functional Leads to validate that business scenarios used in CRPs meet future business processes.
  • Review and approve project phase business documents, including Requirements Analyses, Design Documents, Map & Gap Analyses, and Testing Documents.
  • Work with vendor Functional Leads to validate that business test cases for SIT and UAT cover all future business processes.
  • Help resolve issues and risks concerning Functional Track Milestones and Tasks.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing project portfolios in large organizations, with responsibility for people, processes, tools, and technology, and leading ERP platform deployment, implementation, and migration (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale ERP and enterprise application transformation projects.
  • Deep knowledge of ERP and cloud technologies, including Oracle, SAP, or Dynamics.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
