Enterprise Data and AI Product Owner

As a Data and AI Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of data and AI products that meet the strategic objectives of the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including vendor data scientists and engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of data-driven and AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy

• Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for data and AI products.
• Develop the data strategy and implementation of the enterprise data initiative.
• Identify market opportunities and define product roadmaps to address customer needs and business goals.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and technical teams, to gather requirements and prioritize features.
• Serve as one of the resident experts for all things data and AI.
• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the product development lifecycle.

Product Development

• Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog, creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software developers to design, build, and deploy data and AI solutions.

Data and AI Expertise:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data and AI technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring the application of best practices in data science, machine learning, and AI development.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data and AI products.
• Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and implement improvements to optimize product outcomes.
• Ensure that data and AI products adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
• Promote responsible AI practices and data privacy within the organization.

Skills:

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable requirements.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau) is a plus.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in the data and AI domain.
• Strong understanding of data science, machine learning, and AI technologies and their applications.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, etc.
