English Teacher -- Remote | WFH

Join our team, where we specialize in teaching languages online via Zoom to non-English speaking students in Latin America. Our classes are conducted in small groups with a maximum of 10 students, aged 4-12, and occasionally high school students.

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced English Language Teachers with an ESL background, ideally with knowledge of Spanish. The role involves teaching kids online using Zoom, following our based methodology. Teachers must be available for any of the three shifts: 6:00am-12:00pm, 12:00pm-6:00pm, or 6:00pm-10:00pm, mornings Monday through Friday, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. The school year runs from February to November, with classes starting in August or earlier.

Responsibilities

Conduct online classes using provided lesson plans and materials.

Adapt teaching methods to engage and inspire young learners.

Participate in trainings, meetings, and contribute to the development of lesson plans.

Ensure a positive and supportive learning environment for students.

Requirements

Proven experience as an ESL teacher, preferably with at least 5 years of teaching experience.

Familiarity with online teaching platforms, particularly Zoom.

Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Must be based in Raleigh, NC, or able to work remotely.
