We are currently seeking an Engineering/Manufacturing Technician with hands-on experience working on robotic systems. You will be part of a fast moving team executing vital tasks in support of the construction and development of the KHA family of Ultra Long Endurance aircrafts. This individual should be comfortable working from Engineering drawings and use tools such as Dremel, soldering iron, and crimpers.
Responsibilities:
Aircraft construction from subassembly to full assembly
Building wire harnesses
Modifying Aircraft with hand tools (Dremel, Sanding, Adhesives)
Work with engineers to improve manufacturing processes
Work on special R&D projects
Documentation
Requirements:
3+ years of technician experience working with robotics systems
Able to work with engineering drawings to perform manufacturing tasks
Comfortable being hands on with tools such as a Dremel
US citizenship
Local to the Bay Area, commuting to Emeryville office required (CA)
Plus:
Ardupilot experience
Model Airplane building/flying experience
Veteran
