Erie Forge and Steel, Inc. an industry leading manufacturer of large steel components for military applications (US Navy, Coast Guard) has an immediate opening for an Engineering Technician.
This position is responsible for generating and updating shop floor documentation, including all manufacturing work instructions and CNC set-up sheets, and performing and verifying required inspection and manufacturing calculations to ensure product acceptance. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, blueprint reading, technical writing, attention to detail, problem solving skills and the ability to read and write EIA machine tool code.
Ideal candidate will have a two-year technical degree or 5+ years’ experience in a CNC machining environment.
