Job Summary: The Engineering Operations Manager provides expertise and support in a variety of areas including resource management, engineering effort & capital cost estimation, deliverables schedule assurance and proposal preparation.
Responsibilities:
Management:
Ensure timeliness of Project Kick Off Meetings, SMACCTM reviews, and Project Close Out Meetings
Facilitate three-week staffing Look a Head
Project management of some projects
Effort hour to complete forecasts
Ensure efficient use of engineering resources.
Monitor and drive timely delivery of project deliverables.
Engineering:
Provide conceptual engineering.
Provide detail engineering support if needed.
Develop engineering estimates and proposals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering and/or Management
5+ years’ experience in engineering (preferably related to construction or heavy industrial)
Excellent communications skills, highly organized, detail oriented, and positive attitude
Minimal travel is required.
Able to lift 25 pounds, ascend industrial structures unaided.
U.S. Citizenship
Valid driver’s license
