Engineering Manager

This role is onsite hybrid in either NYC or Atlanta, GA and is a full time, direct hire position.

We are looking for candidates with a rich development background in either iOS or Android (preferably both) who have transitioned to a management/director level role.

Required Skills & Experience

-10+ years' experience within mobile software development

-3+ years' experience managing or directing a team (ideally team of 8 or more engineers)

-Strong understanding of application architecture, best practices and designing highly complex mobile applications

-Strong experience communicating and partnering with various technical teams across the organization, especially product and design teams

-Experience in an Agile environment

-Bachelors Degree

Insight Global is seeking a Mobile Engineering Director to join one of their top financial clients in New York or Atlanta. This individual will be part of the GCST Mobile Engineering team, specifically owning the clients product tailored for small businesses. This person will responsible for managing a team of about 20 mobile engineers (iOS and Android), and will be focused on the constant development and improvement of their mobile application portfolio used by thousands of businesses across the globe. This role is split between people management and strategic direction; working heavily with product and other technical teams to design new features and enhancements, and ensure all aspects align with the enterprise wide strategy. We are seeking someone from a strong mobile development background that has grown into a people leader.
