Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronic Health Records Management:
    • Input and update patient information, including medical history, medications, allergies, and treatment plans into the EMR system.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of electronic medical records.
    • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Perform regular audits of electronic health records to verify compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to documentation and data integrity


Qualifications:

  • Experience in utilizing electronic medical records systems, with proficiency in EMR software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows and medical terminology and PCC.
